How Can We Help?

"*" indicates required fields

If your Rainbow isn't running like it used to — or isn't running at all — bring it to the people who've been repairing Rainbows in Greensboro for over 38 years. We're a factory-authorized Rainbow distributor, which means we work on every model ever made, we use only genuine Rainbow parts, and we stand behind every repair.

From newer SRX systems to Silver Editions from the 1980s, if it's a real Rainbow, we can almost always bring it back.

Models of Rainbow Vacuums Serviced in Greensboro

We repair every authentic Rainbow ever made. That includes:

  • image11

    Rainbow SRX (2019 – Present)

The current flagship. Smart Surface Recognition, app connectivity, the most advanced Rainbow yet. We handle everything from sensor diagnostics to motor and power-nozzle repair, and we have factory parts in stock for fast turnaround.

  • image12

Rainbow e2 Series (Black, Gold, Blue editions)

The workhorse generation that still runs in homes across the Triad. Common service jobs include power-nozzle belts and brush rolls, separator cleaning, motor brushes, and hose replacement. Most e2 repairs are quick.

Rainbow SE Series (Silver Editions, 1980s – 1990s)

Yes, we still service these. Customers bring us SE Series Rainbows that are 30 and even 40 years old — and most of them go back to work for another decade. Parts availability is good thanks to our distributor relationships with Rexair.

    Older Rainbows (D-Series, D4, D4C and earlier)

If it's a real Rainbow and it has a model number we recognize, we'll take a look. Call us with the model number off the bottom of the unit and we'll tell you what's possible before you make the trip.

What We Fix on Rainbow Vacuums

A short list of the most common issues we see — but not the whole list. If your Rainbow is doing something strange, call us. After 38 years, we've seen it before.

  • Loss of suction — usually a clogged separator, dirty water basin, or worn motor brushes. Often a same-day fix.
  • Motor problems — burning smell, intermittent power, motor won't start. We carry replacement motors for every common model.
  • Power nozzle not working — belt, brush roll, electrical connector, or motor. Most fixes are quick and inexpensive.
  • Water basin leaks or musty smell — basin gasket replacement and proper cleaning. We'll also show you how to prevent it from coming back.
  • Hose damage — cracks, kinks, broken connectors. New hoses available for every model.
  • Cord or switch issues — frayed cords, broken rewind mechanisms, faulty switches. All standard repairs.
  • Filter and HEPA neutralizer replacement — we stock genuine Rainbow filters for every model and can install them while you wait.
  • Annual maintenance / tune-ups — recommended every 12–18 months for daily-use Rainbows. We clean, lubricate, inspect, and replace wear parts before they fail.

Step 1 — Call or message us.

Tell us your model and what's going wrong. We can often give you a rough idea of the issue (and the likely cost) before you even bring it in.

  • image12

Step 2 — Drop off or schedule a pickup

Bring your Rainbow to our Greensboro location at 7325 W Friendly Ave, Suite E-1, or call to ask about pickup options. Visits are by appointment so we can give your machine our full attention.

Step 3 — Free evaluation and quote.

We'll diagnose the problem and give you a written estimate before any work begins. If you decide not to proceed, there's no charge for the evaluation.

Step 5 — Pick it up and run it for years.

We'll show you what we did and how to keep it running well between services. Rainbows that get regular maintenance routinely last 20 to 30 years.

Why It Pays to Use a Factory-Authorized Repair Shop

Rainbow vacuums are built differently than most appliances — they use a water-based filtration system, the motor specs are unique, and the parts aren't sold in big-box stores. Working on a Rainbow without factory training and genuine parts is risky, and customers who try the cheap route often pay more in the long run.

When you bring your Rainbow to us, you get:

Factory training. Our technicians have been certified directly by Rexair, the manufacturer.

Genuine Rainbow parts. Every filter, belt, motor, gasket, and hose is the real thing — sourced from the manufacturer, not a third-party reseller.

Warranty protection. Repairs using non-genuine parts can void your existing Rainbow warranty. Ours won't.

38+ years of experience. We've worked on every model Rainbow has ever made. Whatever your machine is doing, we've probably fixed it dozens of times already.
